Nuestro principal ámbito de trabajo es Navarra, un pequeño territorio de apenas 10.000 km2 que reúne una de las diversidades biológicas más elevadas de Europa, gracias a que Navarra se encuentra situada en la confluencia de tres grandes regiones biogeográficas: la Atlántica, la Alpina y la Mediterránea.
We work mainly in Navarre (as well as other Spanish Northeastern regions as Aragón, The Basque Country, La Rioja and Catalonia). Navarre is a small territory of less than 10.000 km2 wide. However, it has one of the highest european natural richness and biodiversity due to the fact that three biogeographical regions come together in this point: the Atlantic one, the Mediterranean one and the Alpine one.

La región Atlántica ocupa el extremo noroeste y está caracterizada por climas húmedos influidos por la proximidad del mar Cantábrico. Su relieve montañoso y accidentado está cubierto de vastos bosques y campiñas ganaderas.
La región Alpina se corresponde con el extremo occidental de los Pirineos y tiene un marcado clima de montaña. Sus cumbres alcanzan los 2.500 metros en sus cotas más elevadas y, también los bosques y la campiña ganadera son su paisaje fundamental.
The Atlantic region: Occupies the northwestern area of the region and is peculiar for having a humid climate because of its proximity to the Cantabric Sea. It is a mountainous region covered by large forests and farmland.
The Alpine region: Is located at the northeastern area of the region, and it is an elongation of the most western edge of the Pyrenees. Its climate is typical of Alpine areas, with cold winters. The highest mountains reach till 2.500 meters high and their most characteristic habitats are large forests and mountain farmland. It has also cliffs and alpine meadows.

La región Mediterránea ocupa la mitad sur correspondiendo a la parte navarra del valle del Ebro y sus estribaciones. Básicamente llana, de clima cálido en verano y menores precipitaciones la pueblan de bosques mediterráneos, paisajes esteparios y grandes zonas de cultivo.
The Mediterranean region: Is located in the southern half of the region in the navarrese part of the Ebro Valley and lowlands. Basically is flat, with hot climate in summer and lower rain ratios than the rest. Mediterranean forests, scrubland, wetlands, steppes and farmland are the most representative habitats.
